A Farewell from Lucatelli

Farewell, good Sirs, I am leaving for the future. I will wait for Humanity at the crossroads, three hundred years hence.

This quote is from the preface of Teodoro the Sage from Luigi Lucatelli - published in English in 1923. 

Lucatelli was an Italian Journalist, war correspondent, writer and a humorist. He created a popular character called Oronzo E. Marginati - kind of a "protesting citizen". 

Interesting to jump 300 years to check what happened to our "humanity". The risk is that we may find an asteroid belt in the orbit of Earth.
